About the Venue
The Town:
The historic town of Park City, Utah, USA has the honor of hosting the 36th annual international conference of Computers in Cardiology from Sunday, September 13th through Wednesday, September 16th, 2009 at the Park City Marriott on Sidewinder Drive.
Park City is home to three world class year-round resorts: Park City Mountain Resort, Deer Valley Resort and the Canyons Resort. During the summer and fall, Deer Valley Resort offers hiking and biking, scenic chairlift rides and horseback rides. Park City Mountain Resort offers zip line rides, alpine slide rides, horseback rides, and a new alpine coaster. The Canyons Resort runs a gondola to the midmountain where attendees can hike, bike or have lunch at the Red Pine Café. Also at the Canyons, there are free concerts on Saturday evenings and a farmers market on Wednesday afternoons. All three resorts are within five miles of one another and are accessible via Park City’s complimentary city-wide transportation system. For the slightly more adventurous there are over 300 miles of trails connecting the resorts and the downtown area which include everything from paved paths to single track, all for hiking, biking and other non-motorized use.
Experience the spirit of the 2002 Olympic Winter Games at the Utah Olympic Park. Attendees can also experience the games by participating in bobsled rides, watching freestyle aerialists flipping and twisting into a 750,000- gallon splash pool, or touring the 2002 Olympic Museum. The park also offers zip line rides on the Xtreme Zip or Quicksilver rides on the nation’s first stainless steel alpine slide.
